Tom, Caine from Pharyngula here. I just want to say thank you, about a million times, to you. You are so incisive and elegant when dealing with people who are beyond scum. Don’t ever think the work you put in is unappreciated – I appreciate it more than I can express, and you do both my brain and my heart so much good. I also learn every time you post, and that’s priceless.
Wow, that’s high praise, Caine, considering how much of the heavy lifting you’ve been doing over there. I’m in awe at your perseverance in these threads; even just dropping in occasionally, I get every kind of frustrated and depressed. I don’t know how you and the other more-regular Pharyngulites manage it.
