Poetic Blasphemy

This is what I come up with when my English professor says that there are no limericks about Jesus.

There once was a young Nazarene,
Whose Apostles all numbered thirteen.
Twelve we are able
To see at the table,
The last stood and painted the scene.

Jehovah incarnate was Jesus.
He’s spoken of in Luther’s theses.
To Christian or Jew,
We say “God bless you,”
But what do we say when He sneezes?

Hm…maybe Biblimericks should be an ongoing feature here at DES, just like the Gospel of Slacker Jesus.
